Some rooms, like the Snickleways, felt cramped for the price!!! Shower pressure in the Ebor Suite left much to be desired!!! Better bathroom shelf space needed for toiletries!!! Thin walls could lead to disruptions during your stay!!!

Breakfast left a bit to be desired. food arrived lukewarm and the eggs were dry. You have to pre-order the night before, hinting at bulk cooking. the separation of the kitchen was odd—sounds and smells seeped through the door, and the double duvet was short, making it a bit tight for two. A TV in the room would’ve been a nice addition too.

For dads, it would be great if there were more entertaining activities for kids on-site.

It was just a fine choice for a weekend excursion in York with very good value for money. The hosts were really helpful, giving great advice on what to see nearby. Remember to order breakfast the night before for the best experience!

Danny was super friendly and hooked us up with a phone charger. The location was chill, just a quick 10 min walk to the center. Our room was cozy and clean. The breakfast was delish. Loved the outdoor dining area! Only bummer was parking was a bit tricky sometimes.

You know the homemade banana bread waiting for you in the room was killer. The breakfast had the best warm, fresh baked bread I’ve ever had. It’s like they put a little bit of heaven on the plate with their scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Oh and the staff? They’re a joy, makes you feel like you’re visiting family who really care.
